MENA FCCG planting the seed for a Public-Private Partnership in the MENA region
MENA FCCG is exploring the introduction of a regional Public-Private Partnership (PPP) during 2021 to improve regulatory oversight. “We are already planting the seed for a PPP in the region and have been in discussion with the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) to consider the MENA region, possibly on their 2021 calendar,” said Michael Matossian, Deputy Chair of MENA FCCG.
A report published in August by RUSI found that of the 20 national-level partnerships and three trans-national information-sharing groups already established, none was located in the Middle East.
