MENA FCCG Participates in the Coalition to Fight Financial Crime Semi-Annual Meeting
In November 2018, MENA FCCG joined the Coalition to Fight Financial Crime Semi-Annual Meeting. The Coalition established by Europol, Refinitiv (formerly Thomson Reuters), and the World Economic Forum in February 2018 aims to mobilize and influence decisions-makers to tackle financial crime. The Coalition also includes: the Centre for Financial Crime and Security Studies (RUSI), the Atlantic Council, Rani’s Voice, the Institute of International Finance (IIF), Fleishman Hillard, and Global Financial Integrity as members. The meeting discussed strategic and collaborative approaches towards better prioritization of combating financial crime pain points, allocation of resources, and support to governments and law enforcement.
